“I replaced three led acid batteries in my gate motor during last year. Fitted the Red Pole 12Ah battery now. So far so good. Had no issues during the last Stage 6 loadshedding! Will definitely get another one for my alarm and one more for the electric fence.”

“My Proline A850 died on me and I decided to replace the battery myself with a better one. I am so glad I did. Lithium battery is not cheap, but I think in the long run it will be the right decision. Replacing with a cheap lead acid 7aH battery is money down the drain imo. So far its coping to keep my laptop going during loadshedding. Downloaded the Winpower app so that I could turn off the annoying beep and keep track of available power”

“Feeling the weight, I thought, what a joke. Then charged it metered and it took 6.5A/hours. Impressive. Then a metered discharge follow at 800mA and it stopped by its internal bms at 6,2 A/hours. Impressive again. Now only time will tell if it will last 10 or 20 years. Will update then again.”
