The Red Pole Energy 12V 90Ah Lithium Starter Battery (RP12V90Ah-SL) is a high-performance starter battery engineered to replace traditional lead-acid, AGM, and EFB batteries in large SUVs, large bakkies, and large vans that require between 750 and 1000A Cold Cranking Amps (CCA).
It is specifically designed to handle the harsh environment and stresses a starter battery is subjected to.
Equipped with an automotive-grade Battery Management System (BMS), our lithium starter batteries support 100% Depth of Discharge and protects against common electrical faults, short circuits, and improper charge voltages.
The cells used are automotive grade high discharge rated ultra safe lithium iron phosphate cells, that have been specifically chosen for their high transient current ratings, voltage and temperature tolerances.
These cells are clamped into a purpose built cradle, inside a specialized battery casing, made for this purpose from a thermoplastic blend that is strong, has a high impact resistance, and can withstand high temperatures.
Featuring a maintenance-free 6+ year service life, an ultra-low self-discharge rate (<3% monthly), and a 3-year warranty, it provides optimal starting performance and a lower total cost of ownership.

The Red Pole Energy 12V 90Ah Lithium Starter Battery (Left Pole Positive*) acts as a replacement for standard lead-acid battery models 650S, 652, 654, 658, 668, or any 12V vehicle application requiring a CCA of 750A to 1000A with matching physical dimensions.
*Left Pole Positive as defined here means holding the battery in front of you with both the terminals furthest from your body, then the positive terminal is on the left hand side.
