The Red Pole Energy 24V 150Ah Lithium Starter Battery (RP24V150Ah-SLE) is a high-performance starter battery engineered to replace traditional lead-acid, AGM, and EFB batteries in long haul trucks, large diesels and heavy trucks that require between 1000A and 1250A Cold Cranking Amps (CCA).
It is specifically designed to handle the harsh environment and stresses a commercial starter battery is subjected to.
Equipped with an automotive-grade Battery Management System (BMS), our lithium starter batteries support 100% Depth of Discharge and protects against common electrical faults, short circuits, and improper charge voltages.
The cells used are automotive grade high discharge rated ultra safe lithium iron phosphate cells, that have been specifically chosen for their high transient current ratings, voltage and temperature tolerances.
These cells are clamped into a purpose built cradle, inside a specialized battery casing, made for this purpose from an eco-friendly flame resistant thermoplastic blend (PC / ABS (PC-540)) that is strong, has a high impact resistance and can withstand high temperatures.
The Red Pole Energy 24V 150Ah Lithium Starter Battery is equipped with a Bluetooth communication module that allows the user to monitor the state of charge (%), voltage, temperature, health, current draw/charge (-/+) and number of starts performed. Using this information you can check alternator functionality, and ensure there is no parasitic drain when the vehicle is turned off.
Featuring a maintenance-free service life of up to 10 years, an ultra-low self-discharge rate (<3% monthly), and a 4-year warranty, it provides optimal starting performance and a lower total cost of ownership.
