Description
The Red Pole Energy 12V 800W Pure Sine Wave Inverter is a reliable, easy to use desktop inverter charger that acts like a powerful UPS, keeping connected equipment running off clean pure sinewave output during loadshedding and protected from power spikes.
The unit is very easy to connect as it comes with a power outlet directly on the unit (standard 3 point plug), pre-wired red and black battery connectors that connects directly to a 12v battery, and a power cord that connects to the wall socket (grid).
The unit needs no intervention – it keeps the battery charged when the grid is available and when there is loadshedding it runs from the battery and keeps your devices powered up.
The unit features a very fast switchover transition from mains to battery power, ensuring no disruption in productivity or entertainment in the event of loadshedding.
The unit delivers a very clean pure sinewave output, using a proper copper transformer and it runs more quiet than the other small (<1000W) inverters on the market.
The unit is designed with multiple layers of protection, including overload, over-voltage, short circuit and over-temperature protection, ensuring safe and reliable operation.
The Red Pole Energy 12V 800W Pure Sine Wave Inverter combined with our 12v Red Pole lithium battery range (sold separately) will create a reliable small scale UPS backup power system for your home.

*This unit does not come with a battery. We recommend a 12v 100Ah Red Pole lithium battery, but 50Ah can work in low power usage scenarios.
*Compatible with all batteries that have a float charging voltage of 13.7/13.8VDC
